Genealogy

I had an odd thing happen to me today at work. We were having an employee birthday party lunch celebration at work and me and Suzy (the building inspector secretary) were chatting it up when we got on the subject of relatives. I just had to throw my only claim to fame out there that I was a Kimball, that my Great Great Great Great Grandpa (I don't know how many greats, but he was pretty awesome) was Heber C. Kimball. To my utter surprise Suzy said that he was her relative as well! We took the time to then look up our genealogy and see how we were related. Come to find out, we are distant cousins!! Her line came down from a different wife of Heber C. Kimball. This is the same Kimball that begat Spencer W. Kimball.
Strange eh?
After looking up all the genealogy I started to think, geez my Grandma was right, this genealogy stuff isn't half bad. It was actually fun to try to find out with line I come from. And here it is (cause I know all of you are dying to find out):
Heber C. Kimball + Vilate Kimball (first wife out of like 10)
David Patten Kimball
Quince Kimball
Lavon Kimball
Earl Kimball (My Grandpa)
Kerry Kimball (Mom)
ME!
Anyone else out there got some pretty sweet relative they'd like to brag about?

Update

Me and Jord's life has stayed pretty much the same. Jordan is still working and going to summer school. Im still working too. I was able to go to a pretty cool conference at Thanksgiving Point a couple weeks ago. I never had the disire to go vist Thanksgiving Point before, but i really found it enjoyable. We were able to visit both the adult and children's gardens, and the dinosaur museum. It might not sound like crazy fun, but it was a cool trip and the gardens were beautiful!

-A water feature at the Gardens
-A shark at the museum (that is a look of true fear)

After the conference Jordan and I went to see 'Miss Saigon' in Salt Lake. My mom had bought tickets for us for my birthday. We loved it.

Grandma Gardner also passed away. She was such a great woman. and definately an awesome grandma. We love her so much. Jordan and I were able to make it to St. George for the funeral. It felt great to be around family again and it reminds me how blessed I am to be part of the Gardner family.
