Cattle and Crafts

{Cattle}
Cattle Drive 2010.
Stats:
40 cattle
5 cousins
105 degree weather
2 days
0 injuries
1 rattle snake killed

Me, Holly and these guys all came out the last day for breakfast.
It was too hot to stay for very long.
we were wusses.
Me & Jo. Arizona strip. 30 weeks pregnant and sweating.

{Crafts}
I don't know if its the nesting instinct that is taking over or the fact that I'm living in Pine Valley, but here are the few projects I've finished in the past couple weeks.
Hand stitching around all the appliqué's on the baby onesies I made during conference this year.

This doggie puppet washcloth for the babe.

This diaper stacker that goes with...
this baby quilt I made.

Im pretty satisfied with the crafts so far.
I'm ready to start something else now.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Memorial Day 'n Such

Memorial Day weekend was spent with the Gardner family in Pine Valley.
We roasted marshmallows, cooked hot dogs, played card games and went on a ride to the Dean Gard 'E' ner camp ground (there was just a tiny error in the spelling on the sign).

I was babysitting Aria that weekend so she got to join in on some of the festivities.
Isn't she the cutest?!

Jordan and AJ took a road trip up to see the McDonald's that same weekend.
I stole this picture off of Cherri's blog. I LOVE IT.
Such a cute group of friends and sweet little Paisley.
I also love that Teddy snuck in the picture.

Im Ready For My Close-Up

Here it is.
My 7 month pregnancy shot.
Taken by myself.
I know, Im a GREAT photographer.
The photo isn't fantastic,
But here it is nonetheless
Me and Jo only started documenting the pregnancy via photos since I was 5 months.
I'll probably upload those later but I just didn't really look pregnant.
I just looked larger than normal.
It seems though, in the last couple of days that the belly has started to grow pretty fast and I think that this prego belly is blog worthy now.

Me and Jo are all moved in up in Pine Valley but it seems like half the week we are in STG.
I love that I get to spend more time with little one.
She is growing up sooo fast!
These pics are from our adventure to the splash pad by her house in Ivins.

Garret & Ashley Thalman

Congrats to Garret and Ash!!!!
They were married yesterday in the St. George temple.
Everything went perfect and Ashley looked gorgeous!

I heart these two.
Me & Jo.
(My belly is finally starting to show)
This is Jacie Hammer. She is amazing.
She wins for "Best Best Friend of the Year" for all she did for Ash and the Gardners.
We spent a lot of time together and had some great adventures these past couple days.
I think I spent more time with Jacie this weekend than Jordan.
I will have you all know that she was the last to leave the Gardner's Saturday night.
She wanted to make sure that everything was cleaned and that Janece wouldn't be staying up late to do any extra cleaning.
What a gem.
The Gardner Fam.

and.... the Fam again.

Im sad to say that I didn't take any pictures at the reception but it was beautiful.
We had it in the Gardner's backyard.
Janece and her posse (her many friends and relatives) did such a fantastic job putting everything together.

Yay for weddings.

Moving On

Happy graduation to Jord!!!
He graduated this last weekend from USU with his bachelors in Accounting and Financial Planning. I am so proud.
He did great. I'm glad I married such a smart man.
Now he just has three years of law in Nevada and he'll be DONE.

Moving day!
Thank you to the Gardner bunch and my dad and Janice for coming up and helping us move.
I absolutely hate moving and never want to do it again!
We are down in St. George again. Kinda.
We're living in the Gardner's cabin in Pine Valley for the summer until we move to Nevada.
This was our lovely kitchen. All packed up and ready to leave our first apartment together.
I loved that little cinder block apartment.
...so many wonderful memories...
but its time for us to be moving on.

Leaving

I can't believe we'll be outta here in less than a week.
We've been here for five years.
I have really come to love this valley.
It sure is beautiful....
in the summer and fall.
I'll be happy to leave the winters behind.

GOODBYE LOGAN!
